Oh joy. I'm driving in the ice and snow down to austin and I'm just now finding out that the third Zune I've tried skips also. I officially deem the Zune as "iTurd."

Be careful driving! Most places here in Austin are closed again today. We had an eight-hour power outage at our house last night. (I posted a pic and blogged about it over on my personal site, Blogabillies.)
Sorry about the iTurd. Three strikes and you’re out, Zune.
You, my friend, have officially crossed the line between interested geek to insane fanatic. Why are you driving in an ice storm? On I-35? In a state that doesn’t own one snowplow to a city, that according to the news last night, has run out of sand for bridges. Did you know they shut down I-35? Just a reminder, you are a podcaster, not a war correspondent.
you should stop switching Zunes because of the skipping problem.
It must be on all Zunes. It happens when using Zune Pass tracks, at the beginning of these. People say when you have almost filled the Zune and/or it has semi-charged battery it happens more frequently.
Firmware v1.2 was supposed to fix it, but it hasn’t. The only solution for now is to set the backlight of Zune to always on (if you can call this a solution).
