Social Media Dashboard

DexterityMedia launched the The Social Media Dashboard (socialtrackr.dexteritymedia.com) this past week. w00t!

a few weeks ago, we realized that there was no place on the web where all the social media websites were listed and rated by their users. You know, a one-stop-shop with info about say, several music sharing sites, or social networking sites. There are actually very few places to even find a listing and/or side-by-side comparison of similar social media sites out there, save a few sites which simply regurgitate Comscore rankings from 2006.

We tossed around the idea of designing and developing an application paying homage to the search engine relationship chart tool created by bruce Clay. but, we wanted to take this idea a bit farther.

We decided to design a tool that will give users an easy to use interface showing the top social media destinations tied to a back-end directory with more detail. So, after some time with designers and developers playing nice-nice together, we are proud to launch this nifty little tool. We call it the Social Media Dashboard. Have a look and tell us what you think. We will update the tool monthly to keep up with current trends in social media.

Our highly-scientific methods include a complex algorithm that takes into account may factors including traffic rankings, number or registered users, traffic patterns and volume trending analysis, logo color considerations, twitter buzz, and personal mood swings.
