This week I had the pleasure of my cell phone dieing mid morning one day. Of course my charger was at home and i was at work. The rest of that day i had this overwhelming anxiety feeling. Not being able to use my phone was really bothering me. Not like i get a whole lot of people that are just waiting to talk to me but if by chance someone did, i couldn't get the call. If I had any hair i would have been pulling it out.
are we so reliant of our phones that being with out them makes us nervous? It's probably just me.
I harp on my wife all the time to charge her phone because hers is always dieing. For me though, I haven't been with out my phone in years. It's just weird how we can be so reliant on technology that didn't exist years ago but now we are leashed to it. Just like we are leashed to our spouses. Except at least with technology new versions are available for purchase. Ha! Just kidding!

In a recent posting on Marketing Pilgrim, Jeremy Luebke comments on how SEO is more of a value add or "gravy" when it comes to your marketing plan. I completely agree!
In talking with many clients and prospects every day, many feel like SEO is going to open the flood gates to more sales in a very short period of time. That's just not the case. as most of us try to explain to clients and prospects, SEO is a longer term investment. It's something that should compliment other forms of online marketing efforts.
So if you're interested in reading what Jeremy had to say, click the link below. Very good stuff in my opinion.

Via the Shoemoney blog we find this new reality television concept that will be online. Think the apprentice meets the marketing geek. Looks really interesting. I think it will be fun to watch how well this show is received, and to see if the Web is ready to support an episodic type show like this. Of course, we have the Lonelygirl15 stuff that seems to be popular, but I think that these guys want to actually make some money from advertising and sponsorship. I don't know how well the Lonelygirl15 series is doing financially, but I would welcome any insight. but check this out, and definitely let me know if you plan on entering.

Samuel adams Rocks! I love their commercials. I've tried this Summer ale and it's a great beer.
