Flickr Issues Threat to Cancel My account

So, after using their service for almost five years, paying for the Pro account (which is paid up until 2010), and uploading over 13,000 images which have been viewed over 100,000 times I received an email from "Joe" at flickr customer support today threatening to delete my account because I violate their terms of service:

Hi giovanni@gallucci.net,

In joining Flickr, you agreed to abide by the Terms of
Service and Community Guidelines. Flickr accounts are
intended for individual use, for our members to share
photos that they’ve taken, not to sell stuff:

"Don’t Use Flickr for Commercial Purposes Flickr is for
personal use only. If you sell products, services or
yourself through your photostream, we will terminate your
account. any other commercial use of Flickr, Flickr
technologies (including aPIs, Flickrmail, etc), or Flickr
accounts must be approved by Flickr."

Please remove the URLs that link to your store/auction(s)
from underneath your photos and/or any sales verbiage or
“for sale” sets at your earliest convenience so that we
don’t have to take further action on your account.

Regards,

Joe

So here’s the problem…I don’t have a "store or auction" link in the description of my images. I *do* put links to my websites and to my social networking profiles. Here is the description to the latest set of images I have on flickr (http://flickr.com/photos/theagencyblog/sets/72157603730923877/):

So the question I have is: What am I selling? anyone, anyone?

blockbuster Merchandising

blockbuster Metchandising
Morons.

Does no-one at blockbuster have young children? Or are they just bent on doing all they can to damage kids as soon as possible with crap like this?

Every time I go in a blockbuster with my kids I cringe when I see how they place R and UN RaTED material next to movies targeted at children. Time and time again they put the most inappropriate covers next to children's titles. I understand the whole alphabet thing…but seriously, how about some common sense here? We need a different plan. I don't want to patronize a store where my 5 year old daughter is assaulted with this kind of garbage.

"You're the parent, you can choose not to go there, we don't believe in censorship…" blah, blah, blah. I understand that some are going to knee-jerk this and put the onus on me as a parent. I'll take that responsibility gladly. I've already removed the TV from our home. Not making a visit to the local blockbuster is easy enough to solve this problem for my family. It just seems like blockbuster wouldn't want to force my hand like that. but iTunes movies and NetFlix online rentals are just a click away. So, no sweat on my part.

I would just like to see common sense to come back into vogue. It would be nice if our culture could go back to a time when we considered the community at large. When images of pure raw sex and slash and cut violence weren't always placed at a height of two feet from the floor at the grocery store, drug store and video rental place, interfering in my kids' right to just be kids.

More directly: Is it too much to ask for someone at blockbuster like Curt andrews, Karen Raskopf, or Dan Satterthwaite to pull their heads out of their rear-ends and help us let our kids be kids just a little bit longer? Please?

What’s happening in the world of sports?

I know the two people out there that read this blog are probably here to read about industry information such as what Google's about to buy next or what Microsoft is going to screw up next. However for a change of pace I thought I would comment about a few things that are happening in the world of sports.

Unless you've been buried under a rock for the past month you know that Michael Vick has been indicted for an alleged dog fighting enterprise being ran out of one of his houses.  He's lost Nike as a sponsor and Reebok has pulled his jersey from the shelves.  In addition, Upper Deck has stopped selling any of his memorabilia and now Rawlings has dropped him.  Tough break Vick! as my wife says "there's always Hush Puppies."   Full story here  http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7078268

being from Dallas I have to report on the Cowboys.  So far the word around the campfire is that camp is a lot more relaxed under the watchful eye of Wade Philips.  Everyone seems to be loose and enjoying themselves.  Something that wasn't necessarily the case under bill Parcels.  Some not so exciting news is that Greg Ellis' ankle is still bothering him a little and now Terry Glenn is having a very minor surgery on his knee.  Other thean that, everything I've read or listened to is extremely positive.  In 8 short days preseason starts so I guess we will see. Go ROMO!

Other news, barry bonds is about to break Hank aaron's home run record and in basketball, Kevin Garnett got traded to the Celtics.  blah blah blah!  I'm not a big baseball fan and I'm over basketball for right now.  It's going to be a long 8 days waiting for preseason to start.
